Terms of service
1. General
By placing an order with Redline Plates, you agree to these Terms of Service. We reserve the right to amend these terms at any time without prior notice.
2. Road Legal Plates
Road legal registration plates can only be supplied once we have received and verified the required proof of identity and proof of vehicle entitlement in accordance with UK law.
Failure to provide the required documentation will delay your order and may result in cancellation.
3. Show Plates
Show plates are supplied for off-road, exhibition and display use only unless they comply with current UK regulations. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure any plate used on public roads is fully legal.
4. Product Information
We make every effort to ensure product descriptions and images accurately represent our products. Colours and finishes may vary slightly due to lighting, screen settings and manufacturing tolerances.
5. Order Processing
Orders are normally manufactured within one working day after all required documentation has been approved.
Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on the courier and time of year.
6. Personalised Products
As all number plates are custom-made to your specification, personalised orders cannot be cancelled once production has started.
Please check all registration details carefully before submitting your order.
7. Returns & Refunds
Custom-made number plates are exempt from the standard 14-day cancellation period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations.
Refunds or replacements will only be offered where:
- The item is faulty.
- The item arrives damaged.
- We have made an error in manufacture.
Any issues must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.
8. Incorrect Information
Customers are responsible for ensuring all registration details, sizes and options entered are correct before placing an order. Redline Plates accepts no responsibility for customer input errors.
9. Vehicle Legality
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure their chosen plate style complies with all current DVLA regulations if intended for road use.
10. Warranty
Our plates come with 1 year warranty and are manufactured using quality materials designed to withstand normal road use and weather conditions. Damage caused by misuse, accidents, incorrect fitting or modifications is not covered.
11. Limitation of Liability
Redline Plates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from the use or misuse of our products.
Our total liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the goods supplied.
12. Privacy
Any identification documents submitted for verification are used solely to meet legal obligations and process your order. Your information is handled securely and in accordance with UK data protection legislation.
